The French Teacher is responsible for teaching the French language to students, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and developing cultural awareness through interactive and engaging teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach French language as per the prescribed curriculum
• Develop students’ skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening
• Introduce French culture, traditions, and basic history
• Plan and deliver interactive lessons using audio-visual aids, activities, and role-play
• Prepare worksheets, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
• Encourage correct pronunciation and conversational skills
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and training programs
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate / Post Graduate in French
• DELF / DALF certification preferred
• B.Ed preferred (mandatory for TGT/PGT as per CBSE norms)

• Strong command over spoken and written French
• Good communication skills
• Creative and student-friendly teaching approach
• Classroom management skills
